As busy entrepreneurs, we don’t always have time to sit down with a book or take a day off to attend a course. That’s why podcasts are vital for soaking up valuable knowledge. After all, podcasts offer an incredibly powerful value add to hitting the gym or kicking back on your daily commute.
Not all podcasts are created equal. And, not all podcasts are worth your time. However, if you’re looking for useful, actionable advice on business growth, there’s plenty of great content out there.
If it’s growth you want, I’d suggest browsing the archives of these 10 awesome podcasts that I have personally found very insightful. While you’re at it, don’t forget to check out my two podcasts, Marketing Speak and Get Yourself Optimized.

1. 10x Talk with Joe Polish and Dan Sullivan
Growth is awesome. But what if you could grow your business 10 TIMES over. 10x Talk is a podcast that is all about growth on a massive scale, and it’s hosted by two guys who absolutely know what they’re talking about: Dan Sullivan, one of the world’s most respected business coaches, and Joe Polish, entrepreneur and founder of Genius Network. Joe and Dan cover plenty of mind-blowing content on everything from growth mindset to marketing strategies that work.
2. SuperFastBusiness
James Schramko is someone who knows about growth. Years ago, James was a general manager at Mercedes-Benz. He took up online marketing in his spare time and his business exploded. Pretty soon he was able to quit his job and is now a leading business coach. He shares his deep knowledge of entrepreneurship and marketing on his podcast, SuperFastBusiness, which is packed with insightful guests and powerful advice on sales, online growth, and more. 3. Tim Ferriss Show
Tim Ferriss is an author, productivity expert, entrepreneur, and futurist whose ideas have literally changed the way many people run their businesses in the 21st century. Not least through his book, The Four-Hour Work Week, where he explains how he achieved massive growth for his company while working only four hours a week. It’s hard to emphasize just how game changing many of the guests and ideas on Tim’s podcast are. This is essential listening for anyone who’s interested in truly innovative thinking. If you’re not familiar with Tim’s work, my interview on Get Yourself Optimized is a great primer.
4. Growth to Freedom
After years as a successful businessman, Dan Kuschell had a life-altering experience. In 2007, he had a terrifying health scare and decided to sell his companies. Since then he has focused on his family and projects that he finds meaningful. He still consults for some of the world’s biggest companies and is an angel investor, and on his Growth to Freedom podcast, he interviews thought leaders and experts on the strategies, resources, and hacks that got them where they are today.
5. Smart Business Revolution
Smart Business Revolution is John Corcoran’s podcast, and it takes a novel approach to business growth. John has worked in Hollywood and in the Bill Clinton White House and is a genius when it comes to leveraging your personal network to expand your opportunities and achieve massive business growth. When you tune in you’ll find plenty of out-of-the-box thinking on plenty of other topics, including an interview with yours truly!
6. The GaryVee Audio Experience
Investor, serial entrepreneur, and New York Times bestselling author Gary Vaynerchuk’s podcast is a colorful, eclectic ride featuring interviews with luminaries like Tony Robbins, business gurus, and hip hop moguls alike. Of course, there’s plenty of practical advice on business, leadership, marketing, and much, much more.
7. Unemployable with Brian Clark
A lot of people start their own business after realizing that the 9-5 life is not for them. That was certainly the case for Brian Clark, founder of Copyblogger and the host of Unemployable podcast. Over 18 years, Brian gradually transformed from freelancer to successful CEO, and his podcast is all about sharing what he’s learned on that journey. There’s plenty of powerful advice here, especially for freelance creatives who are wondering if they can turn their gig into a thriving business. 8. The Tony Robbins Podcast
Tony Robbins needs no introduction. If you know his work, then you know what to expect from his podcast: nothing less than exceptional content. There’s plenty of powerful business-related content, but Tony also explores self-care, empowerment, and other topics along the way.
9. Perpetual Traffic
As an SEO consultant, I have first hand experience on how online traffic can be a major factor in massive business growth. Digital Marketer’s Perpetual Growth podcast dives into the nuts and bolts of perpetual traffic, including SEO, online advertising, social media, affiliate marketing, and more. If you’re seeking practical advice for increasing online traffic and sales, or improving your ROI on ad platforms like Google Ads, this is a great place to start.
10. Entrepreneur on Fire
When you’re an entrepreneur, it takes constant effort to maintain peak performance and keep focused on your goals. Entrepreneurs on Fire is an award-winning podcast hosted by John Lee Dumas that explores strategies that can help entrepreneurs be more productive and empowered while working towards the life and business they want. Entrepreneurs on Fire has featured many amazing guests over the years, including Tony Robbins, Seth Godin, Gary Vaynerchuk, Barbara Corcoran, Tim Ferriss, and even yours truly!
